For your studies to be both useful and enjoyable, it is important to understand how the process is organised and who can help if you have any questions.

The school is run by a team of professionals, each responsible for their own area of work. Don’t hesitate to turn to them!

|

|

The staff member students see most often. Runs the evening activities and helps solve minor problems. |
Some of the staff listed above live in the same building as the students, so help is always close at hand.
Testing: Before you arrive, you will take a language placement test (online or at the partner company’s office). This is needed to place you in the right group.
Induction: On the first day you will be told the main rules, shown what to do in an emergency, and introduced to the programme.
Homework: If it is set at all, it is very small in volume (about 15 minutes), as most of the time is given over to extracurricular activities.
Certificate: At the end of the programme you will receive a certificate. On the last day your form teacher will write about your progress, and the document will be presented to you in a celebratory setting. If for some reason you don’t receive your certificate straight away — don’t worry, the partner company will request it for you.
Living in a residence or with a family is a great opportunity to practise the language.
Safety rules:
Do not leave the residence or family on your own (even with friends, you must notify the manager).
You may only leave the school with permission and after notifying a staff member in advance.
Keep quiet and switch off the lights at the designated time.
What should you do if something is troubling you?
Don’t be afraid to turn to the staff. Approach your form teacher, the welfare officer or the residence manager. They are ready to help — just ask.
